Over the past two months, we have continued to refine and develop SynchroGuard with a clear objective: to make the platform more complete while building the foundations for many features to come. We kept users at the centre of our development plan, with improvements shaped both by our internal roadmap and by the valuable feedback received from users and customers who work daily with the platform.

In this release, we have significantly reworked the Outage Analysis module. The dashboards now provide users with better insights into fault statistics in their network, enabling visualization of the network areas that experience more faults or critical periods of the year.

A new Single Line Diagram visualization has been added, allowing faster and more intuitive fault localization without leaving the platform. This brings a more visual and operational perspective to outage analysis, helping users move from detection to understanding and subsequent resolution more efficiently.

Another step forward toward broader adoption of SynchroGuard has been a major expansion of our documentation. Several modules are now largely documented, including high-level overviews as well as tutorials and FAQs, making it faster for any user to start using the platform effectively. The documentation has also been extended to cover topics such as integration with third-party systems, one of the most common requests from our customers. In this release, we explain how to integrate via dedicated APIs as well as SCADA protocols. Moreover, the technical factsheet has been updated to reflect the latest evolution of the platform.

In parallel, the Asset Monitoring module has undergone an important architectural transition. The state estimation service has now been fully migrated to a new and more robust foundation. This change improves resiliency by enabling the module to withstand downtimes without data loss. New automated alerts have also been introduced, making it easier to detect degradation in the quality of the estimation output and quickly identify its causes.

Another practical enhancement worth mentioning took place within the Data Management App. In addition to downloading field measurements, estimations, and power quality events, users can now also download disturbance or fault transient recordings in COMTRADE format. This represents a useful addition in the user toolkit for offline analysis, now directly accessible from the SynchroGuard platform.

Alongside functional updates, fixes, security improvements, and other updates were included in this release, as well as changes that took place “under the hood” to prepare for upcoming releases.

Looking ahead, our work continues in the same direction. While this release is another step along our journey toward Aurona, we are already fully focused on bringing further improvements. There is more to come, and we look forward to sharing it with you soon.

“With this release, we focused on strengthening the core of the platform while making it more accessible and actionable for our users. It’s not just about adding features, but about ensuring that SynchroGuard continues to deliver consistent value in operational environments. This release is another important step in our journey toward Aurona,” said Marco Pignati, CTO & Founder.
