The Board of Directors of Zaphiro Technologies SA is thrilled to announce the appointment of Frédéric Tréfois as the new Chief Executive Officer. With a strong track record of leadership in the electrical distribution and transmission field, as well as a sustainable vision for the future, Frédéric Tréfois is poised to lead our company into an era of unprecedented growth and success.

As we look ahead, Zaphiro Technologies SA is committed to expanding in response to the recent electricity grid trends which put distribution grids at the center of the energy transition. Distribution utilities as well as micro- and private-grid operators are required to upgrade and adapt not only the physical infrastructure, but also the way distribution grids are planned and managed, with the introduction of new digital technologies to monitor and extend the lifetime of their assets. This is their contribution to a more sustainable future for the industries as well as communities they serve.

Frédéric Tréfois brings into Zaphiro Technologies SA more than 25 years of experience in the energy business sector, where he covered successfully different roles and responsibilities acting in different segments within international companies in Switzerland and abroad. Frédéric joins Zaphiro from Secheron where he was Managing director. Putting customers at the center of the company’s strategy and decisions is a key value Frédéric will bring to the company.

The founders of Zaphiro Technologies, Paolo Romano, Lorenzo Zanni and Marco Pignati, who played a pivotal role in growing the company from a university spin-off to a successful operational reality of 20 employees, will continue to work in close relationship with Frédéric. Together they will further enhance the company value proposition and keep on delivering outstanding products and services to our current and future customers.
