Innosuisse approved 53 companies to receive fundings from its Swiss Accelerator program

Zaphiro Technologies has been granted a CHF 2.5m funding from Innosuisse (Swiss Innovation Agency) in the context of the Swiss Accelerator program. This funding is an important milestone for Zaphiro, since it allows to accelerate the development and commercialization of Zaphiro’s cutting-edge grid monitoring products. 

The call for project received more than 750 applications. Zaphiro went through a three-stage deep assessment process and is among the 53 innovation projects finally selected to receive the funding. The program supports SMEs with exceptional innovation and growth potential. Innosuisse has recognized the high quality of Zaphiro’s PMU-based smart grid solution “SynchroGuard” and provides these funds to further develop and industrialize this technology. 

Zaphiro’s SynchroGuard offers an elegant grid monitoring solution that enables grid operators to take fast, accurate, and cost-effective operational decisions. With SynchroGuard, utilities can safely integrate large quantities of renewables and electric vehicles while simultaneously improving the quality of service for electricity customers.
